The kitchen-diner has been well equipped to make your self-catering stay as comfortable as possible including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, as well as a good range of cooking equipment. Plastic crockery, cutlery and high-chairs available for young children.
Each cottage has two bedrooms, one king-size/twin and one twin. A travel cot or bedguard is available on request. All linen is 100% cotton.
The bathrooms each have a basin, toilet, bath and shower and there is also a separate WC and basin. Towels are provided.
The sitting rooms are equipped with a flat-screen television and DVD player (bring your own DVDs), alongside bluetooth speakers. There is also a variety of books and games for adults and children.
Wi-fi is available throughout, although as it is an extremely rural location, internet speeds do vary.
The sitting rooms are extremely light with French windows leading onto the gardens.

Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding 14 acres of meadow with river frontage and we can provide you with details of walks from the farm as well as further afield.
For most of the year, horses or cows graze on one of the meadows. There are also chickens on North Farm – do ask if you would like to meet them or get a chance to feed them.

On your arrival, we will give you more information about the farm as well as showing you the areas that it is safe to explore with young children.
We are dog-friendly and one well-behaved dog is allowed in Barn Owl cottage - more details are below.

A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The full balance must be paid in full eight weeks before you commence your stay, except for last-minute bookings.
A typical welcome pack for a weeks stay might contain eggs from North Farm, local bacon, some local beer, homemade bread and cake, North Farm jam, as well as basics such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar and butter to get your started. A smaller welcome pack may be provided for short stays.
Before you arrive, you could also consider ordering food for your stay from one of the supermarket online delivery services or from local producers.
As you will see from our reviews, the cottages and gardens are set-up to make your holiday as fun and easy as possible for the kids whilst also providing a luxurious holiday for the adults too.
Children are really welcome to help feed the chickens and explore the farm. Maps are provided in the cottages showing the farm boundaries and explaining where is safe to explore.
To make travelling easier for you, we can provide lots of equipment for your children free of charge.
If you would like any of the items in italics, please let us know at the time of booking so we can make sure they are reserved for you.They may be available anyway when you arrive but it will depend on the occupancy of the other cottage.

We accept one well-behaved dog per stay and ask our guests to agree to our Dog Contract to preserve the fabric of the accommodation and also for the comfort of other guests staying on the farm.
We ask guests to pay a £25 additional fee for any dog staying in Barn Owl Cottage and an additional £75 deposit returnable at the end of your stay.
